Princess Love - Chapter 4

Timmy's surgery was done a week later and it was a success, everyone was estatic when the doctor came out and announced that he did well, even all the guys had come were waiting to hear the news.
"I am so happy!" Susan exclaimed and couldn't hide the tears any longer.
"We are so happy for you!" Brian exclaimed and smiled.  He was so happy that he could help someone like that.
"Yeah! Now we can plan the big dinner." AJ said and everyone laughed.
"When can he leave the hospital?" He asked Jasmine.
"Give him two weeks and he should be as good as new." She said and smiled.  "I should get going now, I will check up on him a little later." She said as she walked down the hallway.
"You want to do something today Kim? We have nothing planned." Kevin said.
"I have a b-ball game tonight." She said and stood up. "But first, I have practice."
"You play basketball?" Brian asked, interested.
         "Yeah, I play for UCLA."
"Wow!" AJ exclaimed. "Can we come and watch?"
"I don't think that would be a good idea." Howie said.
         "Why not?" AJ asked.
"Because I think everyone would recognize us." Howie explained.
"Give us half an hour and we will be right back!" Kevin exclaimed and brought everyone out the door.
"They are nice boys." Her father said and she nodded.
         "Yes... they certainly are."

Elizabeth made it routine to ride the horse every morning and every evening, so that was what she was doing that morning, a week after she first saw the prince and she hadn't seen him again.  She walked her down to the brook again and looked around at the tall trees that surrounded that section of land.
"Hello." She heard the voice say again and she looked up at him.
"Hello." She said, when looking up at him and then looked back down and backed the horse away from the brook.
"Is there a problem?" He asked with concern.
"Why didn't you tell me you were a prince?" She asked him, looking back up into his handsome face.
"I didn't think it was all that important." He said.
         "I do." Elizabeth said slowly.
"Do you want to go out for a cup of coffee?" He asked and she looked at him.
         "With the horses?" She smiled.
"No, I have a car."  He smiled and she nodded.
"Of course." She laughed and they put their horses in the stables and walked to short distance to the silver Meredes that said SEAN on the liscense plate.
"So, what do I call you? Prince Sean? Your Serene Highness? Your Serene Highness Prince Sean? Your-" She said and smiled at him and he rolled his eyes good-naturally as they got in the car.
"My name is Sean, call me Sean." He said and drove towards the little cafe.
"Very well then Sean." She said and smiled at him as he looked at her and grinned.  His title certainly didn't go to his head.
"Very well then Lizzy." He laughed and she smiled.
"You can call me whatever you want." She said and smiled.
"Well, you can call me anytime." He said and she burst into giggles and he smiled as he got out of the car and went around to open the door for her.
"Thank you." She said as he took her hand and led her to the front door of the little coffee shop.
They continued this pattern of dating for nearly a year.  She made him happy and he made her happy that she had moved.  On their first anniversary he asked her about the fate of their relationship.
"I am not getting any younger and I need to get married.  Will you marry me?" He asked and she looked at him in surprise.
"Of course." She said and hugged him, she hadn't been completely surprised that he had asked her, and she was happy.  She would become his princess and the princess of the vast land on the opposite side of the Backstreet Boys.

Valerie had begun her schooling at UCLA School of Directing.  All was going well and she enjoyed it.  After a year of studying, viewing and editing films, she was assigned her first project.
"For our first project, I want you to direct something completely on your own.  Whether it be a music video or a little movie, anything.  I want you to use your skills of editing and helping the cast or crew that may take part in your movie.  This will be due in two months." He said and she looked across the auditorium, looking for everyone's reaction.  They didn't seem surprised, but Valerie was.  The bell rang, marking the end of the school day for her, now she had to go to work.
She had gotten a job as a waitress, again, in a suburb of Los Angeles.  She enjoyed the work and liked meeting new people, it was also a good support system for her, she could easily afford clothing and food
"Hi Wendy." Valerie said as she walked in the door and put her apron on.
"Hey there, how was school?" They had only known each other for a year, but Wendy was becoming a mother figure to Valerie.  She always asked what was wrong or how things were going.  Wendy had been working at the restaurant for nearly 20 years.
"A pain." She grinned and took an order of a young woman sitting in a both by herself.  She looked like a nice young woman with medium length brown hair and big, curious, brown eyes.  Valerie took her order and walked tot he counter and placed the order and talked to her friend, within ear shot of the young woman in the booth.
"We have to do an assignment where we make either a mini-movie or a music video.  We have to get people, make the ideas, film it and then edit it." She said, looking tired and strained.
"How long do you have?" Wendy asked.
         "Two months." She said.
"Well, you should have something figured out by then." Wendy said, reassuringly.
"That isn't the problem, I need people!" Valerie said, tired.  She went and took another order.  She went to the front counter and picked up the order for the girl in the corner and placed it in front of her.
"Anything else?" Valerie asked politely, looking down at the young woman with the UCLA jersey of the woman's basketball team on.
"No... well, there is something..." The young woman said, looking up at Valerie.
         "What is it?"
"Well, I couldn't help overhearing your conversation about your school project..." She began.
"Really?" She asked, wondering what this girl could do to help her.
"Yeah, I have someone, actually a group of people, who might be able to help you." She said.
         "Really? Who?" Valerie asked.
"I will tell you tomorrow, I will bring them over tomorrow. What is your name?" She asked.
"My name is Valerie, what is yours?"
"Kim." The young girl said and Valerie shook her hand and went into the woman's bathroom.
"YIPEE!" She screamed happily.  All she needed to know was who this group of people would be...
