Princess Love - Chapter 37

"You know that one day you will see me on ESPN and say...hey that dude looks familiar!" AJ said as he made a shot at the pool table.
"Doing what? Singing?" Jasmine laughed and watched him make another shot.
"Funny!" He smiled and winked at her.
"Well, it's the truth." She sat on the bar stool with her legs crossed.  She wore a short pink skirt and a white cashmire sweater.  Her hair was worn half up and she wore very little makeup, but she looked beautiful.
"I am going to be a pool champion!"  He jumped up as he made another shot.
"Swimming!?" She laughed and he rolled his eyes and laughed.
"Um... no, kissing." He ran over and gave her a big kiss and then went back to the pool table.  "Did you know that our first stop on the tour is London?" He walked by, wearing khakis and a black tank top.
"Are you kidding!?" Jasmine uncrossed her legs and stood up.
"Nope."  They both thought that they had spent more than enough time in England.
"Auntie Jazz!" Sammi came running down the stairs and gave Jasmine a big hug.
"Hey buddy! What have you been up to?" Jasmine asked, spinning Sammi in the air and then putting her down on her feet.
"I played b-ball with Nicky and Brian-I won!" She clapped her hands and smiled a huge, toothless, smile.
"Wow! You must be good! Wanna try to beat me at pool?" AJ asked and Sammi ran over.
"Yeah!" But she paused and frowned.
"What is it?" AJ looked down at her.
"I can't play pool, I don't know how." She looked up at AJ with big, sad, eyes.
"Well, I'll just have to show you how, won't I?" Sammi nodded and looked around at the table.
"I'll be upstairs." Jasmine slowly walked upstairs and saw Elizabeth sitting at the kitchen table.  "Hey Liz." She smiled at Elizabeth, who looked up and smiled in return.
"Hi Jazz, what are you up tp?"
"Nothin', I just heard that the first stop on the guys tour is London, do you think you are going to go with them?" Jasmine sat down next to Elizabeth.
"Damn! I didn't know that, I guess not..." She yawned and stood up.
"Are you okay? You don't look to good." Jasmine thought that Elizabeth was pregnant.  She had heard the argument that she had with Brian the other da.  They still hasn't formally announced the knew arrival.
"I don't feel to good either." She shrugged her shoulders and rubbed her eyes.  "You know that I am pregnant." She said it as a statement, rather than a question.  Jasmine nodded.
"Yeah. Liz, I think you should take a nap or something." Jasmine knew what pregnant women went through and she hoped that Elizabeth wouldn't have a hard time.
"I'm fine." Elizabeth stood in front of Jasmine, who noticed that she looked like she had lost more weight than gaining any.
"I'm going to talk to Brian..." Jasmine stood up and went to the kitchen door, which led to the basketball court.
"No! No, no, I'm fine.  I will take a nap." She went upstairs and Jasmine shook her head and went outside.
Howie and Nick were playing agaist Brian.  They were all sweaty, but looked like they were having fun. Jen and Valerie were watching, cheering them on.
"Brian!" Jasmine shouted, trying to get his attention.
"Another one! AH HA! I knew I would beat ya!" Brian ran around, doing a little dance.
"We let you win!" Nick said and looked in the direction of Brian.
"Brian!" Jasmine yelled again and Brian turned around.
"What!? I am enjoying my victory over here."  He took a swig of his water and walked over to her.
"I need to talk to you." She said quietly.
"I can't, I'm busy beating these two over here." He turned around and grabbed the basketball.
"Fine! I just wanted to let you know that Liz isn't feeling to good." She turned around and went back upstairs.  She felt a hand on her shoulder and turned around, not surprised to see Brian.
         "Is she okay?" Brian asked.
"Go upstairs and see for yourself." He bolted upstairs and flung the door open to the bedroom.
"Hi." Elizabeth looked at him, wondering what he was doing.
"Are you okay?" He walked over to her spot on the chair by the window.
"I am just tired and I am scared about telling my father..."
"Don't be.' Brian tried to reassure her.
"How can I not be? I know that we are going to London on the tour."
"You think you can come?" Brian put his hand on her shoulder and she nodded.
"Yeah! It'll be fun." She smiled and he leaned down and kissed her on the cheek.  "Except for when I have to see my father." She pulled away from him and looked into his eyes.
"Don't worry, you have time to plan.  We have a month of rehearsing to do, once Kev comes back that is." Brian rubbed her shoulders and gaver her a big, white, smile.
"He is going to kill me, I-"
"Don't worry about it, we will have our baby and he is going to have to deal with it." Elizabeth nodded. She knew that Brian was right, but it was going to be difficult.
Her father didn't believe in premarital anything.  He was extremely old-fashioned and Elizabeth had to try her hardest to keep him from yelling at couples that were making out in public.  He could ramble on for hours about how 'back in the day' that wasn't allowed, let alone a child out of wedlock.
"You're right.  He said that all he wanted for me was to be happy and I am." She smiled.
"Come on! You have to root me on for this game." Brian took her hand and they ran downstairs to the court.
