Princess
Love - Chapter 33
"Stand where I tell you!" Adam ordered and everyone looked at him, frightened.
"When are you going to give up!?" Jen asked and he looked at her in disgust.
"When I want to, sit down and shut up! Or I will blow your head off."
"So?" She asked and looked at him.
"You want me to?" He asked and she nodded.
"Go ahead." She said and Will tugged at her shoulder.
"What are you doing?"
"I don't know." She whispered in his ear.
"You know you aren't going to get what you want, why don't you just stop?
You are only going to get yourself into trouble." Jen told Adam.
"I don't care, I want to give my country what they need."
"They don't NEED those people, they WANT them, big difference."
"SHUT UP!" Jen was driving him nuts, she shut her mouth.
"Stupid bitch." He shook his head and walked to the front of the plane
where the pilots where flying the plane around in a big circle near Florida.
"How are things going?" Adam asked and they were silent. "I SAID
how are things going?"
"Fine, sir." One of the nervous pilots spoke.
"I want to talk to someone." Adam said and grabbed the microphone that
would be transmitted to the airports and other planes.
The pilot that was next to him leaned back and looked at his belt, in the
back. There was a little screen, much like the screen on the cellular phone,
it said 5:00 in big red letters. The pilot was surprised that he
even let it show, but he probably didn't even realize that it was showing.
"I need use the bathroom." The pilot said and stood up.
"Go." Adam said, still trying to figure out how to use the microphone,
the other pilot wasn't helping him.
The pilot, Tim, was the one that had been looking at Adam's belt.
He went to the back of the plane and looked at Jen, who still had Adam's
gun.
"He didn't take it away?" He asked and Jen shook her head.
"No, to stupid."
"I have an idea." The pilot said and began to talk, fast. "I was
looking at his belt, I have had a high area in training in various types
of jobs; including engineering and computing. I have built many bombs,
little ones, and I know how to use them well. I saw that his 'clock'
was set on 5
minutes. That
means that if he is shot and he pulls his arm the bomb won't explode for
another 5 minutes. So, if we shoot him and he pulls his arm we have
to throw him out of the back of the plane, we have 5 minutes to do it."
"Are you serious?" Jen was wondering if maybe the pilot was nuts, but he
nodded.
"Let's open the back, tell everyone to not go back there or they might
fall. Have 3 or 4 strong men standing by the front door, ready to
carry the body." They pulled the door, and the alarm didn't go off.
He had pushed the button so quickly that not a peep was made from the alarm.
"Now, come with the gun and shoot him."
"Can't you shoot? I have never shot a gun before." She said and he shook
his head.
"No, I need to catch him. Now wait 2 minutes, get everyone ready
and come up." Jen nodded and Tim walked to the pit.
Jen went around and whispered to everyone to not go in the back.
She told 4 strong men to come forward and told them what they were going
to do. They were all slightly confused and didn't know if it was
going to work, but it was a try. Tim had just found out that they
were running out of fuel so they had very little time.
Tim walked to the pit and saw Adam playing with the speaker. "Let me help."
He pointed out the buttons to push and Adam was very well interested.
"Hello?" He asked.
"Yes." A man's voice from the Orlando airport answered.
"Give me the police." The police came on and he told them what he wanted.
He also told him that they were running out of fuel and they only had 20
or so minutes until they lost 200 Americans.
Jen slowly walked forward and both the pilots moved back. By the
bathroom was a small group of men that were silent. The door that
divided the cockpit and the passenger side was open and they couldn't make
a noise. Jen carefully pulled the trigger and was thrown back by
the force of the bullet leaving the barrel.
"AH!" Adam screamed and pulled his arm. The clock went from 5:00
to 4:59 and the countdown began. The men grabbed him, but one stumbled
and fell. They had to all stand up again and hold on to the men.
They made their way down the aisle. The unconcous Adam in their arms.
"MOVE!" Jen screamed, the aisles were full of curious people. They
didn't understand her and Jen led the way to the back of the plan, throwing
people with all of her force out of her way. She turned around and
saw the clock was on 1:00.
"Oh my god! How did it go down so fast!?" She screamed.
"Because it took forever to get these idiots out of the aisle. HURRY!"
Tim said and Jen walked forward, leading the path. She came to the
edge and the wind was forceful. She moved out of the way and the
men came forward, 20 seconds were on the clock.
"3... 2... 1... HEAVE!" Tim screamed and they all swung their arms back,
with Adam in them. They threw him downward and watched in fascination.
His body wurled around in the wind, up at the high altitude. They
watched him and it seemed like his body had slowed on the way down.
There was a huge fireball in place of what had once been Adam and a big
boom was heard. Jen shook her head and turned around.
The men shut the door and the pilots went back to the front to try to land
the plane, it was going to be hard. They were 30 minutes out of Orlando,
by they had 15 minutes worth of fuel left. Jen sat in the front and
saw the panick on their faces.
"Is their a field anywhere around here?" Jen asked.
"Yeah, we are over one." Tim said, he had flown over that area thousands
of times and knew that they were over a farm.
"Land there." Jen said and Tim raised his eyebrows and nodded.
"Yeah, but if the plane catches on fire it will ignite the grass." The
other pilot, Charlie, pointed out.
"But we don't have a choice." Tim said and they agreed to land it in the
field. Jen stood up and announced the emergency landing to the passengers.
"Please fasten your seat belts, we are taking an emergency landing." Jen
said and clicks were heard through out the plane.
Tim called Orlando Airport, where the police where waiting.
"We killed him." Tim said.
"Excuse me?" A person on the other end asked.
"We killed the terrorist, we are landing in a field right now near Tampa."
"Why?" The voice asked.
"We don't have fuel."
"Okay, we will have emergency vehicles there ASAP."
"Please tell the families to come!" Jen yelled.
"Okay." They signed off and the pilot took a hold of the stick.
"Let's pray." There was a moment of silence and he slowly let the plane
go downward. Jen closed her eyes and the only thing she could think
of was Nick and her family that she had missed for so long.
"Here we go..." Tim said and there was a loud bang as they hit the floor.
Jen waited for the hottness of fire near her skin, but it never came.
She opened her eyes and stood up.
"Thank god!" She stood up and ran to through the aisles.
"We are in Florida! Thank god!" Jen laughed and cried at the same time.
She ran over and threw the door open, there were police and ambulances
waiting. She looked around and saw Nick in the distance. She ran,
open armed to him.
"Oh god!" She cried. "How did you get here so fast?" She asked as she backed
away from him.
"I flew." He said and Jen smiled.
"I will NEVER fly again." She held him tight.
