Princess
Love - Chapter 31
Jen slowly opened her eyes and looked down at her feet at the two bodies
that were wrestling each other down on the floor.
"It hit the wall." A woman said, behind Jen. Jen turned around and
looked at the woman who was pointing at the wall directly in front of them.
"Get up!" Will held Adam by the hair, dragging him up.
"I won't give up! I will fight until the end!" Adam stood next to Will
and looked at Jen, who pointed her gun towards Adam.
"You don't care if I shoot you?" She asked evilly, staring at him.
"Not really." Will came behind Adam and tied his arms together.
"Shoot me if you dare.... See my belt?" Adam asked and looked down.
The crowd watched him.
"Yeah?" Jen looked at the thick black belt that surrounded his waist.
"I'm strapped with dynamite." He said, looking up at the group with a proud
smile on his face. "You shoot me and I will blow the plane."
Jen looked at him and realized that he wasn't as stupid as she had thought.
"And how can we be so sure of that?" A man from the back of the crowd asked.
"Turn my belt inside out." Adam told Will. Will walked over and flipped
the belt so that he could see the part that had been facing Adam's body.
The entire belt was red with black and white wires running all around it.
The black wire ran up his shirt and to two inches below his armpit.
"If you shoot me I will throw my arm and we will all blow."
"Why are you doing this?" Jen asked and he smiled at her.
"Because I hate you Americans."
"Where are you from?" Will asked, realizing that this guy really had a
think Middle Eastern accent.
"It's not important. What IS important is that if your government
doesn't give me what I want I will kill you all." He said and the passengers
sat on the plane, waiting to see what would develop of the man that only
wanted revenge.
"Where is she!?" Nick paced up and down by the gate where he was waiting
for the flight to come in. It was four o'clock in the morning and
he had already been waiting for an hour. The airport refused to tell
them anything, except that they were delayed. Nick didn't believe it, there
wasn't even any bad weather.
"Don't worry about it. You know how planes are." Brian supported
his friend.
"Yeah, but this just doesn't make sense!" Nick threw his hands up in disgust
and then sat down.
Brian and Nick were the only ones that had come to the airport, everyone
else was to tired and couldn't bring themselves to come. The guys
didn't mind, but now they were running out of thing to do. There
were very few people waiting at the gate, the airport was nearly deserted.
"All people waiting for Flight 200 from London, please report to the Meeting
Room near the Baggage Check-in." A voice boomed over the loudspeaker.
Nick and Brian looked at each other and stood up.
"Uh... this can't be good." Nick shook his head and Brian shrugged his
shoulders.
"I don't know, but what in the world could have happened?" Brian asked
and Nick didn't know.
"I have no idea, but it must be bad." Nick frowned and they walked to the
Meeting Room. There were several people there and a few aiport officials.
Nick and Brian sat down and waited for more people to come in.
"Okay, I am Richard Werst, I am the head of this airport. We recieved
a disturbing call from the pilots on the plane about two hours ago. They
are still over water, but they are close to here."
"What happened!?" Nick asked, agitated. He wanted this guy to get
to the point.
"Some how an Arab terrorist got on the plane. He wants the government
to give him what he wants or he won't give us our people back, that is
what the pilots said that he said."
"What does he want?" A crying mother asked.
"Some Arabs came here about two years ago and robbed a bank, they are in
jail now. They killed a bank teller and one of them is serving a
life sentence. They are American citizens now and they are serving
their term here, but this guy wants them back. We just can't do it,
they are criminals." A police officer explained and the small group
grew silent.
"What can we do?" Brian asked, looking at his friends face. Nick
looked like he was going to stand up and kill someone. Brian knew
the best thing that Nick could probably do would be to keep himself busy.
"Wait. We will get them back somehow, we know it." The police officer.
"What if the plane runs out of gas?" Nick asked worridly.
"I don't know." The police officer didn't tell him that it would probably
crash. The Arabs didn't care what happened to them, as long as they
got what they wanted.
"Yes you do." Nick glared at the man.
"Well, it would probably crash-"
"Damn it!" Nick shook his head.
"-but we will try our best to prevent that." The officer finished.
Nick rolled his eyes and kept him mouth shut.
"You should all go home, we will call you when we have information.
Keep this information to yourselves, just tell the people that NEED to
know, we don't want this out in the press or the guy might get even angrier."
Richard said and took down everyone's names and numbers.
"Let's go." Brian put his arm around his friend and they walked to the
car.
"This poor girl! How am I going to tell Sammi!? Damn-How am I going to
tell Carra!?" Nick rubbed his eyes.
"Just get some sleep and we will worry about it all later." They reached
the house and went upstairs.
Nick felt a pang in his heart when he slept with no one by his side.
He got up an hour after trying to fall asleep and got Sammi from the extra
room. He was careful to not wake her and put her next to him.
He kissed her on the top of the head and closed his eyes.
"I can't live without your sister, I just can't do it." Nick mumbled to
himself and fell asleep.
Brian walked into his room and found Elizabeth sleeping. He smiled
to himself and changed into his shorts and sat down on the bed. He
layed down next to her and pulled her close to him.
"Is everything alright?" She asked and Brian smiled in the darkness.
"Let's talk about it in the morning." He said and moved his arm back to
his side.
"I love you Brian." Elizabeth said and took his hand in hers.
"I love you more." He smiled and she put her fingers up to his mouth
and felt the smile on her fingers.
"I don't know what I would do without you." She whispered and he moved
closer to her, putting his arms around her.
"You will never have to worry about that." He said and moved his fingers
to her stomach, he felt her shiver.
"Are you cold?"
"No..." She laughed. He leaned down and slowly kissed her and she
kissed him back.
He sat up and looked down at her in the darkness, the moonlight shining
threw the open window. He unbuttoned the top of her pajamas and she
pulled of his shorts. They slept happily that night.
